Senior High Youth Group
The Trinitarian Youth program is a vital ministry serving high school age youth with four distinct self-standing programs (Sunday Youth Group, Wednesday Night Discussion Group, Confirmation and Mission Trips).
Youth may choose to participate in just one or two areas or to take advantage of all of the offerings. See the individual listings for more information about each program.
Sunday Night Youth Group
School has begun again, and that means it’s time for Youth Group! Our first regular Youth Group meeting is on September 10 from 7:00pm – 8:30pm in the Parish Hall.
This is the time to jump back into things, catch up with everyone, and get re- acquainted for the year. If you’ve never been to Youth Group before or you are a freshman, come and give it a try. We’ll run around, blow off some steam, and have some fun. You will have the chance to rekindle old friendships, and meet lots of new people. Unlike school, there are no pre-requisites, tests, or homework.
Youth Group is a safe, welcoming, place where we can be ourselves, respect one another, and have fun.
Wednesday Night Discussion Group
What class do you wish your school offered?
If you could live forever, would you?
What is the most important thing you have learned from your parents? Which emotion is the most harmful to you – fear, jealousy, or anger?
Would you rather be the best player on a bad team, or a benchwarmer on a good team?
If these questions, or ones like it, are of interest to you, then come to discussion group.
Sunday Night Youth Group can tend to get a little crazy, especially with 40 or so of you there. Discussion Group is an alternative to the chaos. There are usually six to twelve of us each Wednesday where we talk about all kinds of things, of your choosing. All high school kids are welcome, whether you attend other Youth Group functions or not.
We meet every Wednesday night from 7:30-8:30pm in the youth room (in the basement), or any other space we can find. DG will resume on September 6th. I hope to see you there!
