Statement of Faith
The Statement of Faith, contained in our By-Laws and the Mission Statement, adopted by the congregation in 1993, shape our worship and ministry.
“This church acknowledges as its head Jesus Christ. It acknowledges as sister and brother in Christ all who share this confession. It looks to God as revealed in the Scriptures, and to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. It claims as its own the faith of the historic church expressed in ancient Christian creeds and reclaimed in the basic insights of the Protestant Reformers. It affirms the responsibility of the church in each generation to make this faith its own. This church identifies with the Statement of Faith of the United Church of Christ.”
